Farm 2 Kids
Farm2Kids has launched!! Through our Farm2Kids Program we will deliver over 68,000 bags of fresh produce directly to various schools throughout Orange County for after school distributions throughout the next year. Children as they leave school are provided a 5 lb. bag of fresh produce that they can take home to their families. In this way we assist families in securing the nutrition they require to lead healthy active life styles.
This program promotes the benefits of healthy eating for children by providing the educational content and tools necessary to support the positive development of the whole child. Through nutritional education we seek to raise awareness among children and parents of the role fresh fruits and vegetables play in a healthy active lifestyle.
