Letter Carriers’ Annual Food Drive brings in close to 300,000 pounds of food to the Orange County Food Bank

Donations Critical as Thousands Join Hunger Rolls;
Effort Will Help Feed Needy Families

The Orange County Food Bank would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s NALC’s “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive a success! We received close to 300,000 pounds of much needed food this year. A special thank you to Eagle Community Credit Union and Co-Op Financial for sponsoring bags this year. The bags really added to the success of this food drive.

Thank you to all our volunteers who worked so hard out at the post offices helping the letter carriers unload their trucks and sorting the food.

Of course, thank you to all the letter carriers and the National Association of Letter Carriers representatives. Food Banks all over America depend on this food drive to keep them stocked with food for the summer months. We really appreciate all your hard work.
